Kodi gives your computer a TV-style screen. It takes longer to set up, and it is best if you enjoy this kind of project. VLC is simpler for a quick test.
1

Download Kodi

Go to kodi.tv, then click Download, then Windows. Choose the installer. Never use “preloaded” versions from other sites, as these can contain harmful software.
2

Install it

Open the file. Click Yes when Windows asks, then click Next until it finishes.
3

Open Kodi’s settings

Open Kodi. Click the gear picture at the top left.
4

Open Add-ons

Click Add-ons, then Install from Repository. Click PVR Clients.
5

Install the IPTV add-on

Click PVR IPTV Simple Client, then click Install. Choose OK if it asks about other items. Wait for the message that says it is installed.
