1
Open Settings
In TiviMate, press Select, then left until you see the menu. Choose Settings, the gear picture.
2
Open General
Choose General. Then look for Backup Data. If you do not see it, this feature may not be in your version.
3
Make the backup
Choose Backup Data, then choose where to save it. Name it with the date, such as “January”. Press OK.
4
Keep a copy elsewhere
A backup kept only on the same stick does not help if the stick fails. If you are comfortable, copy it to a USB drive or a cloud service. Ask a relative or ask us if you are unsure.
5
Install TiviMate on the new device
Install the app on your new device first, using the guide for that device.
6
Restore your settings
On the new device, go to Settings, General, then Restore Data. Choose your backup file. The app restarts with your favourites in place.
7
Test a channel
Try a channel. If you still use the old device, remember that both devices playing at once need two connections.
