1
Open TiviMate’s settings
While watching, press Select, then press left until you see the menu. Move down to Settings, the gear picture, and press Select.
2
Open EPG
Choose EPG. Then look for your TV guide source. If you signed in with a username and password, it may already be listed.
3
Add the guide link if needed
If nothing is listed and your email has a guide link, choose Add EPG Source and enter it. Do not use a random link from the internet, because the listings may land on the wrong channels.
4
Choose Update
Choose Update Now. The guide can take a few minutes to download, so please be patient and let it finish.
5
Set it to update daily
Find the update interval setting and choose once a day. That is plenty. Updating too often slows the app and does not improve the guide.
6
Check the guide
Press Back until you return to your channel. Open the TV Guide. You should see program names. If some channels are blank, that is common for smaller channels from overseas.
7
If the times are wrong
If programs appear an hour or more off, check the clock and the time zone on your Fire TV first. See our guide on fixing the time zone. This is the most common cause.
