You can turn any of them off again at any time.
1
Press the Home button
On your Fire TV remote, find the button with a small picture of a house. Press it once. The main Fire TV screen appears. If you ever feel lost, this button always brings you back here.
2
Open Settings
Press the right side of the round ring on your remote until you reach the small gear picture on the top row. Then press the middle of the ring. This middle button is called Select, and it works like “OK”.
3
Open Accessibility
Press the arrows to find Accessibility, and press Select.
4
Turn on Screen Magnifier
Choose Screen Magnifier and press Select so that it is On. Read the instructions on the screen, as they show which buttons zoom in. Usually, you hold Back and Fast Forward to turn it on or off.
5
Turn on High Contrast Text
Choose High Contrast Text. This makes writing bolder and easier to read. Try it for a day, to see whether you like it.
6
Try VoiceView if you prefer
VoiceView reads the screen out loud. To turn it on or off, hold the Back and Menu buttons together for about two seconds. It changes how the remote behaves, so read the short tutorial it offers.
7
Sit a little closer, or use your phone
If a login is hard to read, you can type it from your phone with the Fire TV app. The text on your phone is much larger, and you can zoom in on your email.
