If you cannot see the edges of the menu, or the channel’s writing is cut off, this is usually a TV setting.
1

Find the picture size setting

On your TV’s remote, press Settings or Menu. Look for Picture, then Picture Size or Aspect Ratio.
2

Choose Fit or Just Scan

Look for Fit, Screen Fit, Just Scan or Original. These names all show the picture without cutting anything off. Avoid Zoom.
3

Adjust on your Fire TV

On a Fire TV, go to Settings, Display & Sounds, Display, then Calibrate Display. Use the arrows until the arrows on screen just touch the edges.
4

Check the app

If only your TV app looks wrong, look for Screen Size in the app’s settings. Choose Fit or Auto.
5

Test another channel

Some channels send a stretched or narrow picture. Try a different one to see whether it is only that channel.
