You need your Wi-Fi name and password. They are usually on a sticker on your internet box.

Start

Find your Wi-Fi details

Look for a sticker on your internet box. The network name may be labelled SSID, and the password may be labelled Key or Password. Write them down clearly.

Press the Home button

Find the button with a small picture of a house on your remote, and press it. The main screen appears. This button always brings you back if you feel lost.

Open Settings

Press up until you reach the small gear picture at the top of the screen, and press the OK button. On some TVs, it is on the far right. You can also press the gear button if your remote has one.

Open Network & Internet

Choose Network & Internet. Your TV searches for nearby networks. A list of names appears, which may include your neighbours’ networks.

Choose your network

Find your network’s name in the list, and press OK. If you see two similar names and one ends in “5G”, choose that one if the internet box is nearby.

Type your password

A keyboard appears on the screen. Move with the arrows and press OK on each letter. Remember that capital letters count. Then choose Connect or the check mark.

Final step

Check that it worked

The word Connected appears under your network’s name. Press the Home button and try opening an app.
