Your stick and login can travel with you within Canada. Pack a few things, and you are ready.
Start
Pack everything
Unplug the stick from the TV. Pack the stick, the remote, the power cable, the power plug and the extender if you use one. A small bag keeps it all together.
Plug it into the new TV
Push it into an HDMI port, connect the power to a wall outlet, and turn on the TV. Press Input or Source on the TV’s remote and choose that HDMI number.
Connect to the new Wi-Fi
Press Home, then go to Settings, then Network. Choose the new Wi-Fi and type its password. Our Wi-Fi guide shows every press.
Open your TV app
Your app and your login are still there. Just open it and choose a channel. You do not need to install anything again.
Know about hotel Wi-Fi
Hotels often ask you to sign in on a web page, which a stick cannot always do. Some also limit streaming. A test before you rely on it can avoid a disappointing evening.
Final step
Remember the connection limit
If someone at home is watching on the same connection at the same moment, one of you may be cut off. Add a second connection if this happens often.
