The Mac has fewer IPTV apps than other computers, but you do have choices. Decide what you need, then test before paying.
Start
For a quick test
Use VLC, which is free. It plays your link well, but it does not show a proper TV guide. It is ideal for checking whether a channel works.
For regular viewing
Open the App Store on your Mac, the blue icon with an A. Search for an IPTV player. Look for one with a TV guide that accepts a username and password.
Read recent reviews
Scroll down and read reviews from recent months. Check when it was last updated. An app that has not been updated in years may stop working.
Check the cost
A price, or the words “In-App Purchases”, means you may be asked to pay. That money goes to the app’s maker. It is separate from your plan with us.
Stay safe
Be careful with apps that ask you to turn off your Mac’s security settings. If an app asks for this, choose another.
Final step
Still need help?
That is completely fine. Tell us what you want to watch, and we can suggest something simple. Message us on WhatsApp or by email, any day from 6 AM to 11 PM Eastern Time. Tell us your device and what you see on the screen. A photo of the TV screen helps a lot.
