How to Install IBO Player on an LG Smart TV

Install IBO Player from the LG Content Store, then link your playlist with your Device ID and key.

LG TVs have their own app store. Most recent models can install this app. A small fee may apply after a trial, paid to the app’s maker.

Start

Press the Home button

Press the house button on your LG remote. A row of apps appears along the bottom of the screen.

Open the store

Choose LG Content Store, also called Apps on newer TVs. It may take a moment to load.

Search for IBO Player

Choose the magnifying glass, then type IBO Player. If nothing appears, your TV may not support it. A streaming stick is then a good choice.

Install and launch it

Choose Install. Wait for it to finish, then choose Launch.

Photograph your details

The first screen shows your Device ID and Device Key. Take a clear photo of them with your phone. Keep these private, because anyone with them could change your list.

Open the website

On your phone or computer, go to the official IBO Player website, then open the section for your device. If you are unsure of the address, ask us.

Add your playlist

Reload your TV app

Return to the TV, close the app, and open it again. Your channels should now appear.

Final step

Try a channel

Press the arrows to choose a channel, and press Select to watch it. If you see a picture and hear sound after a few seconds, everything is working. Well done.
