How to Add Favourite Channels and Hide Groups in TiviMate

Turn a list of thousands of channels into a short list you use. Add favourites and hide groups in TiviMate.

Nobody wants to scroll through thousands of channels. Ten minutes here makes the app feel as simple as a cable box.
Start
Open the channel list
While watching, press Select once. The channel list appears. Press up or down to find a channel you watch often.
Hold down Select
With the channel highlighted, press and hold the middle button for about two seconds. A small menu opens.
Choose Add to Favorites
Move to Add to Favorites, and press Select. Repeat for each of your main channels. Five to ten is a good start.
Find your favourites
Press the left arrow to see your groups. Favorites is now near the top. Choose it, and only your favourite channels appear.
Open the group manager
To hide what you never watch, open Settings, then Playlists, select your playlist, then Manage Groups.
Untick unwanted groups
Press Select on a group to remove its tick. That group no longer appears. Nothing is deleted, so you can tick it again any time. Hiding groups also makes the app faster.
Final step
Go back and enjoy
Press the Back button until your channel returns. Your list is now much shorter. If someone else uses this TV, show them the Favorites group. It is all most people need.
