An iPhone or iPad is a simple way to test your service, because you can copy and paste your details from your email.

Start

Open the App Store

On your iPhone or iPad’s main screen, tap the blue picture with a white letter A. To tap means to touch the screen lightly with your finger, once.

Search for Smarters Player Lite

Tap Search at the bottom right. Type Smarters Player Lite, then tap the blue Search key. Check the maker’s name and the reviews, because many apps have similar names.

Tap Get

Tap Get, or the price if the app is paid. Your iPhone may ask for your fingerprint, face or Apple password. Wait until the button says Open, then tap it.

Choose Xtream Codes

Tap Login with Xtream Codes. If the app asks permission to use your local network, tap Allow. This helps if you want to send video to your TV later.

Open your welcome email

Press the Home button or swipe up to leave the app. Open your email and find our welcome message. Keep it handy.

Copy your username

Press and hold your finger on the username until it is highlighted. Tap Copy. Return to the app, press and hold in the Username box, then tap Paste.

Copy the other details

Do the same for the password and the server address. Copying avoids typing mistakes. Type any name you like in the Name box.

Tap Add User

Tap Add User. Wait while your channels load. Please keep the app open until it finishes.

Turn your phone sideways

Choose a channel. Turn your phone sideways so that the picture fills the screen. If it does not turn, check the rotation lock in Control Center.

Final step

Be careful with mobile data

Video uses a lot of data. HD uses about 3 GB per hour. Use Wi-Fi where you can, so you do not run through your phone plan.
