How to Show Us a Problem With a Photo of Your TV

A photo of your TV screen helps us solve your problem quickly. How to take a clear one with your phone.

You do not need to describe everything. A clear photo shows us the error message, the screen and the app right away.
Start
Leave the message on the screen
If you see an error, leave it there. Do not press anything yet.
Open your phone’s camera
On your phone, tap the Camera picture.
Stand in front of the TV
Stand straight in front of the TV, and hold your phone steady. Turn off any lamps that shine onto the screen, to reduce reflections.
Take the picture
Tap the big round button. Check that you can read the message by looking at the photo. Take it again if it is blurry.
Take a second photo if you can
A photo of the device’s About screen, showing its model, also helps us. It is not required.
Send it to us
In WhatsApp, tap the paperclip or camera in our conversation. Choose your photo, then tap Send. You can also attach it to an email.
Final step
Hide private details
If the photo shows your password in full, cover it, or tell us. We do not need your password in order to help.
