How to Set Up MyTVOnline on a Formuler Box

Add your service to MyTVOnline on a Formuler box, with the details from your provider.

Formuler boxes come with MyTVOnline, an app made for TV. Menu names vary a little between versions, so look for the closest match.

Start

Connect the box

Connect the box to the TV with an HDMI cable. Plug a network cable into your internet box if you can. Plug in the power and choose the right TV input.

Open MyTVOnline

From the Formuler’s main screen, open MyTVOnline. The first time, it may take you directly to the connection screen.

If not, press the Menu button on the remote. Look for Connections, Add Portal or Account Setup.

Choose the type of login

Choose Xtream Codes API if your email lists a username and password. Choose M3U if you have one long link. Choose a portal option only if we gave you a portal address.

Find your welcome email

On your phone or computer, open the email we sent you. Search for “StreamIPTV”. If it is not there, look in the Spam or Junk folder. Keep the email open, because you will copy from it in the next steps.

Type a name

The first box asks for a name. This can be anything you like, because it is only a label. Type “Home”. To type on a TV, press the arrows to move over the letters and press Select on each one.

Type the server address

Move to the box called Server, URL or Portal. It is the web address in your email, which starts with http. Type all of it, including any number at the end such as :8080. Do not add any spaces.

Type your username

Move to the Username box. Type it exactly as it appears in your email. Capital letters and small letters count as different letters, so copy them just as they are.

Type your password

Move to the Password box. Type it carefully. The number 0 and the letter O look alike, and so do the small letter l and the capital I. Compare with your email if you are unsure.

Check your typing

Before you continue, compare each box with your email, one letter at a time. A single wrong letter stops everything from working. This takes a minute and saves a lot of trouble.

Save and restart

Choose Save or Connect. Then close MyTVOnline and open it again.

Wait for your channels

The app now downloads your list of channels. This can take several minutes the first time. Please leave it alone until it finishes. Pressing buttons now can stop it partway.

Final step

Try a channel

Press the arrows to choose a channel, and press Select to watch it. If you see a picture and hear sound after a few seconds, everything is working. Well done.
