How to Install IBO Player on a Samsung Smart TV

Install IBO Player on a Samsung TV, find your Device ID and key, then add your playlist from its website.

IBO Player is a TV app often used on Samsung sets. You add your channels from a phone or computer. A small one-time fee may apply after a trial, and it goes to the app’s maker. Check the current price on their site.
Start
Press the Home button
Press the button with a picture of a house on your remote.
Open Apps
Move along the menu to Apps, and press the middle button.
Search for IBO Player
Select the magnifying glass at the top. Type IBO Player. If it is not listed, your TV may be too old. A Fire TV or Android TV device is then an easy alternative.
Install it
Select the app, then choose Install. When it finishes, choose Open.
Write down your ID and key
The app shows a Device ID and a Device Key. Take a photo with your phone. Capital letters matter, so a photo is safer than writing them down.
Go to the website on your phone or computer
Open the web browser on your phone or computer. Go to the official IBO Player website, and find the section for your device or playlists. If you are not sure of the address, message us.
Enter your ID and key
Type the Device ID and Device Key from your photo. Choose Login or Continue.
Add your playlist
Choose Add Playlist. Give it a name, such as “Home”. Paste your M3U link from your email. An M3U link is one long web address. Ask us if you cannot find it. Then choose Save.
Reload on your TV
On your TV, close the app and open it again. Your channels load after a short wait.
Final step
Try a channel
Press the arrows to choose a channel, and press Select to watch it. If you see a picture and hear sound after a few seconds, everything is working. Well done.
