How to Search for a Channel in TiviMate

Find any channel quickly in TiviMate, using its search tool, even in a list of thousands.

Searching is often faster than scrolling. Type just a few letters of the name.

Start

Open the menu

While watching in TiviMate, press Select to open the channel list. Then press the left arrow until the main menu appears on the far left.

Move to Search, the magnifying glass, and press Select. A keyboard appears on the screen.

Type a few letters, such as “CBC”. You do not need the whole name. If you use the phone app, you can type from your phone.

Press down to reach the list of results. Channels with similar names may appear, sometimes labelled HD or 4K. Press Select on the one you want.

If this is a channel you watch often, highlight it and hold down Select. Choose Add to Favorites, and you will not need to search next time.

Final step

Try a shorter spelling, such as “RDS” rather than the full name. Line-ups change over time. If it is truly missing, send us the channel’s name.
