How to Install OTT Navigator on a Firestick

OTT Navigator is a good choice if you watch many movies as well as live TV. It has more settings than some apps, so we will keep it simple.
Start
Check that you are ready
You need two things first: the Downloader app, and permission for it to install apps. If you are not sure, follow our article “Full Steps to Install Downloader App on Fire TV Stick” first, then come back here.
Open Downloader
Press the Home button. Hold it down for two seconds, then choose Apps. Find the orange Downloader picture, and press Select to open it.
Select the address box
You will see a white box near the top, with a message inviting you to enter an address. Move to it with the arrows, and press Select. A keyboard appears on the screen.
Type the official address
Type the address from the app maker’s official website. We do not print it here because addresses change, and fake copies exist. If you are not sure which address is correct, message us first. We are glad to help.
Press Go
Move to the Go button on the on-screen keyboard, and press Select. A progress bar shows the app downloading. Wait until it finishes, without pressing anything.
Choose Install
A new screen appears, asking if you want to install this app. Move to the word Install, and press Select. If you see a warning that names a virus, stop, choose Cancel and message us.
Choose Done
When the screen says the app is installed, choose Done. Do not choose Open yet, because we want to tidy up first. If you pressed Open by mistake, press the Back button.
Delete the leftover file
Downloader now offers to delete the installer file. Choose Delete, then Delete again to confirm. This only removes the leftover file. Your new app stays installed, and your stick gets some storage space back.
Open the app
Press and hold Home, choose Apps, then select OTT Navigator. It may ask for permission to use storage. Choose Allow, so it can save your settings.
Final step
Add your login next
Follow our guide “How to Add a Playlist to OTT Navigator”. The app has optional paid extras, but you do not need them to begin. Avoid unofficial free copies.
